Tips for dealing with nosy/rude friends & family?

HELP!!! I'm gearing up for another family baby shower this weekend, and I'm the only sister-in-law without children yet. I DREAD the thought of hearing "so when will be having one of these showers for you", since no one knows of our IF problems.

Does anyone have any good responses to these questions or statements? I need to gently convey to these well-meaning people that they need to back-off.
