Pam- does AIA provide any guidelines/hints for how to deal with these uncomfortable & upsetting social situations?
(p.s. the shower I'm attending is for my sister-in-law who after 11 years of infertility treatment, finally adopted. The baby arrived 3 weeks ago, so I'm thrilled to be going to the shower. However, I'm pretty sure the quiet conversations will focus on their inability to conceive a child on their own. If I don't have a prepared response for my own situation, I might blow a gasket and bite someone's head off.)
