You know I've been planning for this question for a while and I keep thinking it's gonna come up but honestly I think we underestimate people but for the people who aren't quite so with it, my basic prepared response is 'it's just taking a little longer then we planned' the end and walk away. ( Also, I try very hard to avoid situations where I may be put in this kind of a situation cause they are painful )
