As gently as I can say it, I think you should listen to your doctor's honesty. Women who conceive at your age are extremely, extremely rare, and usually have shown heightened fertility throughout their lives. Perhaps consider spending your money on an option that has a chance of working. I know its painful, and I wish you good luck on your journey.
