I also have a beautiful baby after numerous IVF cycles. This is the reason I believe I am a more patient mother and never for one second wish I was with friends, working or sleeping rather than being his mother. This is something that all my friends who have experienced infertility relate to, we all feel so fortunate to have our miracles and don't miss anything about the time before. When times get rough, we just remind ourselves of the alternative and all of a sudden things get easier.
This is not to say that you shouldn't try to enjoy your time while trying to have your baby. The reason this time is so important to enjoy, is that it will hopefully relieve some of the stress of infertility if you can enjoy some precious time with your mate.
The grass is definately not greener.
