Hi Dee - I am currently on the waiting list for DE at Cornell, have been since Sept '99 - I have consistently been told 9-12 months and it seems to be accurate. I call every month and am told the same thing. They are very nice, but are holding true to their original timing.
You must be a patient patient (:-) if you want to use them for DE, which we do because of their success rates. I also asked why they do not use donor registries. I was told that "we have talked to many of them and they do not meet with our philosophy here". Good Luck! Sue
