And in addition, given my age, 38 my chances for Down's Syndrome is 1/177. Those are still pretty good odds, but you just never know with these things. A friend of mine's sister-in-law is only thirty and she gave birth to a Down's Syndrome baby. And if I knew that this child that I am carrying had DS, I would get rid of it as much as it would painful. Hey if Madonna, is 42 and her chances are 1 in 65, then I should be in pretty good standing. My gut is telling me that everything will be alright. I don't want to even totally celebrate this pregnancy until I get these results. Anyway, enough about me. I must have talked your ear off. This is what happens when you don't get on the internet very often.
