I married into a family that's got tons of fertility problems (mine pale in comparison). I have one sister-in-law that conceived (naturally) after many months on Pergonal. Another s-i-l that miscarried triplets through IVF, then successfully gave birth to twins after a frozen embryo transfer. BUT... I've got another s-i-l (big family, huh?) who's been trying to conceive for 10 years. She and her husband just adopted the most beautiful, perfect baby boy. They never thought they'd be parents, and are simply in seventh heaven right now. I realize adoption isn't for everyone, but seeing my s-i-l glow after years of pain and suffering is nothing short of miraculous.
Don't feel lost -- hold onto your hope and consider all your options.
