BUT...it was the best move that I made..AND I LOVE my OB/GYN..but he isn't a reproductive endocrinologist. If you want to make sure that your testing is good and that you are getting good care, I would say that after 2 years of not being successful in trying to conceive..it is time to move on. In New York, insurance has to cover testing for infertility and treatment (meaning treatment that can fix the problem..such as surgery, but they don't have to cover IUI's, IVF..anything that is only to get your pregnant). Check with your insurance company to see what exactly in covered under your plan...and please..I was resistant to leaving my OB/GYN too, but really it was the best thing. In fact, my OB/GYN told me that it was time for me to see someone more qualified in infertility than he is...I feel that was quite responsible of him. Good Luck. Leslie
