i had a postcoital test last cycle which showed thick mucus. now, this cycle i was put on prednisone to thin out my mucus. when i went in for another postcoital, my mucus seemed to be worse - it was thick and cloudy. what does this mean? how come the prednisone didnt work? could mucus consistency change from month to month?
