but at the same time..I think there is a desperate need for the public to be informed about the realities of infertility. I just turned 30 years old. I was 27 when I told my OB/GYN that I suspected a problem.
From the things that I heard about infertility before it happened to me, I thought that it mostly happened to people who slept around and got sexually transmitted diseases and it happened to people who waited too late in life to have children....AND my mother had endometriosis!!! I didn't really know that it was that big of a deal!! I knew she had some problems, but I didn't know the extent until it happened to me! I didn't REALLY believe that I was at risk. So..yah, if there is going to be reporting done on infertility, let's get the facts straight if they aren't straight already. Leslie
