Maybe they will get better but, situations like this one will always be around you.
You could shelter yourself from these situations by retreating into yourself, but, then you would be depriving the world of a sweet, caring, wonderful human being and I don't believe this is what you want.
You have been through so much, and "this too will pass.."
I know, trite but true.
Don't give in to the depression, Take care of your self do something nice for you, pamper yourself buy a great outfit, overspend on some useless little something
