oh boy do i relate. my husband grudgingly agreed to 3 cycles. had 2 IVFs at age 44 when i should have stopped at one and then it took several donors who quit,etc. for me to switch programs and finally do DE at NYU which was a failure in march. he says he will not do another cycle no matter what even though he promised me before we got married that we would do whatever we had to to get me a baby if i would wait until he had his divorce. imet him after he separated and there was no doubt his exwife didnt want to get back together. she held things up for spite and i'm certain knowing i was losing my fertility was part of her plan. he will not consider adoption and i can't live with this. but therapy has helped a lot and i am not giving up. now that i have reched the point where age isnt so much of a problem--DE after all, i have more time to work on him. but i am 47 and i would love to have a baby before 50. good luck. lisa
