You are not stupid. When I was seeing my OB/GYN, I never really wanted to leave him to go and see a specialist. I trusted him. I believed everything he said. I was totally clueless about what was ahead for me. Going to a Reproductive Endocrinologist was the best thing I ever did. My RE knew what my problem was the first day that he spoke with me. He was sure and he was correct. It was a huge relief to know that there was a problem and it wasn't just a case of me being stressed out or something. I LOVE my OB/GYN and if I ever have a baby, I will be using my OB/GYN. He is great at what he does. RE's are the ones who know how to do the infertility stuff. I don't think you will be sorry in finding one. I know it is scary. Good Luck. Leslie
