QUESTIONS FOR DOCTOR, PLEASE

I just turned 46 and have tried Clomid (a high dosage, which produced two eggs), Gonol-F (8 amps/day) a few months later, and Pergonal (8amps/day) just recently. I did not respond to either Gonol-F or Pergonal. My questions are:

1. How can I optimize my chances for a better response to medication? (I can't believe I don't have at least a few decent eggs left!)

2. Is it possible that I was overmedicated?

3. Should fertility-drug treatments be given consecutively, or am I wise to wait a month or two between each?

4. My RE (who is honest about my slim chances) has put me on BCPs for two months, before we try again. How can this help?

Time is a wasting, and I eventually have to put closure to this. For now, though, I need to give it all I have. Thank you in advance for your kind advice.
