My wife asked that I also add this.... Her regular gynecologist, after learning how many times over the last couple of years we tried IUI, asked if her Endocrinologist had looked at her Uterus, fallopians, etc. When she expressed that he had not, her Gyn checked her out, and discovered 3 polyps inside her uterus. We have had conflicting information about whether or not the polyps could cause infertility. The Endocrinologist, when we had a conference with him, told us emphatically that they would not interfere. Her Gyn doctor told us emphatically, that he believes they did cause it. Since their removal, we have achieved 2 positives, with donor iui, but neither remained. We would like your opinion as to whether or not polyps can cause infertility, or keep the fertilized egg from nesting within the uterine lining. We are thinking about a followup examination with our Gyn, to insure that, after these 2 positives, within 6 months, that polyps have not returned. Thanks again.

Dennis
