It is hard to say whether increasing Clomid will help. You have probably been on Metformin enough time to benefit from it. If you are ovulating, there is no point increasing the Clomid dose at all. If you fail 3 ovulatory cycles with Clomid, proceed with injectables. Good luck.
: Before going to an RE, my ob-gyn prescribed clomid for me because I complained of irregular periods.
: A temperature chart was the only "monitoring" I had. However, after the third cycle (I was up to 150mg),
: I did go to an RE. They told me my bloodwork showed that I did in fact ovulate that cycle. I went through a few
: tests and was diagnosed with PCOS. I've been on metformin for 3 months now. It did nothing for me by itself.
: This cycle I took 100mg of clomid. Today is day 15 and it is not looking good. Will higher doses of clomid
: work? Or, am I wasting my time? Should I be moving onto the injectables? Have I given the metformin enough
: time to work on me? I'd really appreciate your input.
: Thanks.
