Before going to an RE, my ob-gyn prescribed clomid for me because I complained of irregular periods.
A temperature chart was the only "monitoring" I had. However, after the third cycle (I was up to 150mg),
I did go to an RE. They told me my bloodwork showed that I did in fact ovulate that cycle. I went through a few
tests and was diagnosed with PCOS. I've been on metformin for 3 months now. It did nothing for me by itself.
This cycle I took 100mg of clomid. Today is day 15 and it is not looking good. Will higher doses of clomid
work? Or, am I wasting my time? Should I be moving onto the injectables? Have I given the metformin enough
time to work on me? I'd really appreciate your input.
