Hello!! I'm so happy to see the message board!! I need some help getting a diagnosis...I am 29 yrs old, have had irregular periods for years, have facial/body hair, am obese, and suffered from infertility until we used provera/clomid successfully 5 years ago. My sister was diagnosed last fall and brought PCOS to my attention at which time I went to my last fertility specialist to see what he thought. He ran tests on my fasting blood sugar level and my testosterone level both of which he said were within normal range. He gave me a precsription for provera and sent me on my way. Well I've seen a couple articles since then and am convinced I have PCOS. I'm in Kentucky and don't know how to find a doctor that has experience in diagnosing PCOS. Do I need an endocrynologist? What tests do I ask to be run? This has been going on for almost 10 years so I'm encouraged it has a name but at this point I'm looking for any help you can give me in getting a proper diagnosis. Thank you!! Tamera
