I noticed that several people were given assistance finding a doctor in their area with experience with PCOS. I was diagnosed in 1998 with PCOS and endometriosis after a laporoscopy to look for endometriosis found both.

My OB/GYN at the time mentioned the PCOS, but acted like it was not a big deal.

Even since the surgery I have had pain on my left side (the side with the polycystic ovary), but had thought it was just something I had to live with. I have also experienced weight gain, hair growth, etc.

I am wondering if some or all of this can be attributed to PCOS.

I am in Stillwater, OK which is equidistant from Oklahoma City and TUlsa, Oklahoma.

If anyone has a recommendation of a OB/GYN or endocrinologist in my area with experience, I would appreciate the referal.

I was elated to find this website, as I had little luck when I tried to do some research in 1998. Saw this website in LHJ.

Thanks
