I'm not a doctor and can't make a diagnosis over the internet but it definitely sounds like you have some sort of hormonal imbalance. The excess facial hair and acne certainly point to an excess in androgens. Check out the article by Dr. Daniel Stein on this website and my summary of Dr. Rogerio Lobo's talk from the AIA PCOS conference in October 1999 for a discussion of symptoms and diagnostic tests. Perhaps you might want a second opinion from a reproductive endocrinologist or medical endocrinologist who is familiar with PCOS.
