After 7 IVF's, countless IUI's 2 miscarriages and 1 second trimester abortion due to spina bifida we have a wonderful beautiful 4 1/2 year old daughter. While it is true that in the beginning after a child is born we may lose sight of and not have time for a late sleep, a 10 pm movie or a morning where we can sleep past 6 am , I would assume that all of us who are going through this terrible thing called infertility, would relish in new and precious moments that replace all that you feel you are missing now. I would not give up anything at this point in time that I have with my daughter to regain some of those things I was able to do when I was without child. Although I cannot understand your feelings I have to be empathetic to them. It just seems more likely that these feeling might come from someone who has never experienced infertility. But everyone has to express the way they are feeling and I wish you some well deserved late sleeps and evenings out with your husband. For now I would rather cuddle with my daughter and husband.
