I am sorry that I don't know the specific study, but high male hormone levels can cause infertility. In some cases, acne is due to polycystic ovaries. Most cases of acne are just sensitive skin with normal male hormone levels. If you do have acne and don't menstruate regularly you probably have some form of polycystic ovaries. Check with your doctor.
