I too was very disappointed in Nancy Snyderman's insensitive and uninformed remarks at the end of the segment. And I also thank Debi for courageously sharing her story. I wanted to say two things about Dr. Rosenwaks in response to one of the comments. Although I think his remarks in the piece were on point and appropriate, it may well be that other remarks were edited out of the piece. I have had camera crews descend on my apartment for hours to interview me about infertility issues, only to find that most, if not all, of what I say ends up on the cutting room floor. Other times, my statements were taken out of context. That's always the risk you run when making yourself available to the media. On a personal note, Dr. Rosenwaks has been my doctor for four years now and has seen me through two miscarriages as well as the conception of my precious daughter. I feel fortunate to have such a smart and compassionate doctor as well as one who is so supportive of the infertility "movement" in general. Ellen Bender, AIA Board Member
