Leslie, Dr. Grunfeld and everyone else,
I would love to talk more about this issue on this board. I know that most REs think immune therapy is a waste of time. I know it has not been definitively proven to be effective. But, when you have what proponents of immune theory consider to be classic immune problem symptoms (multiple M/Cs, many chemical pregnancies and other immune disorders, for example), it is almost impossible not to consider immune therapy. If it works, then doing IVFs without immune therapy would be the waste of time. It is frustrating that there is no middle ground in the medical community. Dr. Beer and his supporters are 100% for it, and the rest of the REs seem to be 100% against it. Is it just that it could be a waste of time? I know this is anecdotal, but three friends of mine believe their infertility was resolved through immune therapy. Their stories and circumstances really do support their beliefs that immune therapy helped them, that their pregnancies weren't just a coincidence. So, what do we as patients do? Help! :)
Best wishes, Eva
