Hydrosalpinges can interfere with implantation. Most of us recommend their removal before IVF.

: My laparoscopy showed my right, and only, tube has a hydrosalpinx. Can prevent IVF success? I had an ectopic with my first IVF and I'm wondering if this had anything to do with it.
