i am 5 weeks pregnant at 42.5 yrs. old. Did IVF and made it to blast with ICSI. After previous m/c at 11 weeks due to trisomy 18, I am like a lunatic, wondering if this one could possibly be normal. Can I derive any comfort at all, chromosomally speaking, that this embryo lasted 5 days in a dish and was assaulted with a sperm? (as opposed to a kinder, gentler natural pregnancy). I need SOME reason for hope, but maybe I'm grasping for straws. Thank you.
