: Is an IVF pregnancy considered more precarious than a natural one and if so, for how long? Not sure if I should be taking it easier than I have been. Thanks.

From here on out your pregnancy is "natural" one and should be treated as any other pregnancy (unless medical conditions have presented themselves to indicate otherwise which I'm sure you would have noted.)

An IVF pregnancy will always remain more precarious in our minds, our worries and fears are greater than our friends. My OB happened to be VERY sensitive to the fact it was so difficult for me to get pregnant therefore treated me much differently than he may have others - BUT it had nothing to do with anything but his being supportive of my stuggles to get to where I was. Enjoy this time in your life as best you can (busy chasing those worries away.) :) Debi
