Stacy,

Clomid might be OK, but did your doctor evaluate you for other causes of short cycles? What was your prolactin? Is your thyroid function normal?

Good luck.

Dr. Barad

: I am 30 and have been ttc for 16 months. I had a lap and hysterscopy done last Thursday. My dr cleared the endocervical canal (found out it was blocked when tried to do HSG).

: He also cleaned up a lot of scar tissue fom a previous lap and LEEP surgeries. Dye was run through and was successful-there were no blockages.

: I have been tested twice at day 21 for progesterone levels. Both tests were very low (below 3). My dr said the next route would be to start me on Clomid. My cycles run about 26 days. I get my period every month. Is this the best route for us?

: Also, can use of Clomid cause cysts to form? I have has about 3 in the last 6 months (since being off the pill). I was put on the pill 9 years ago due to softball sized cyst that was removed from left ovary.

: (p.s. My husband had a SA done and is ok.)
