: does anyone know what kind of success there has been with frozen blasts. (i have 4). I am 42. Also, how long can they be frozen for and is it better to use them sooner rather than later. Thanks.

Sophe,

Success rates vary by clinic. You could go to the SART Report to find out the specifics for a given clinic. NYU recently implanted frozen embryos (not blast) which had been in the freezer for (I believe) 10 years (or something like that) and acheived pregnancy. I believe you'll find there has been no research showing a difference in success rates relative to the amount of time they are frozen.

Good luck. Debi
