My RE is holding me on Lupron for 2 weeks before I start follistim -- this is because of overcrowding at the clinic,not becuase I need it. The clinic claims that this does not negativily affect pregnancy rates but I am skeptical. Has there been any research on keeping someone on Lupron for a few extra weeks not for medical reasons. I am paying a fortune for this cycle and cannot believe that this is a sound medical practice, but rather a way for a clinic to make as much money as possible by seeing more patients than they can physically handle. anyone expereince this and get pregnant?
