My understanding is that you shed your lining even if you don't ovulate -- getting your period is NOT a sign of ovulation. While I don't know for a fact I am not sure your period is lighter -- I have PCOS which means I often don't ovulate but my periods are very heavy accompianed by severe cramps. Go figure
: I was just wondering if anyone can help me understand al little about ovulation. My question is, if one ovulates every month, and if they don't, would they get their period? In other words, would a period come if there was no ovulation?
