Progesterone injections are usually in an oil base. If you are allergic to peanuts or sesame you may be reacting to the oil. Suppositories are often in cocoa butter so might react to those as well. COnsider using Crinone Cream, it's less likely to have side effects.

It is also possible that you have an infection of some kind. You really should see you physiican and give them the opportunity to try and diagnose and help you. What you are experiencing is not normal.

: Severe chills, followed by low-grade fever, followed again by chills. Starts about an hour after the injection (or suppository). Haven't heard of this happening to anyone before, but it's happening to me!
