: ...so you'd be in good hands at either place. We chose Cornell because of its expertise with male factor. I'm pleased to say we made the right decision, because our son was just born last month. It was our first IVF, which was our first infertility treatment.

: There is a lot of truth to the stories about Cornell being like an assembly line but, you have to remember why you're there -- to get pregnant. Also, it is true you'll see many, many different docs there, which can be upsetting to some women. I looked at it like this -- I had access to a lot of the best trained people in the business.

: This process is tough enough. Make sure you choose a doctor and program with whom you are comfortable. If you are second guessing your choice, or don't have faith in your doc, it will be a lot tougher.

: Good luck.

Hi Katie,

Thanks for your input. I have an appointment with NYU, but it was a hard decision and I decided NYU because I know someone who is undergoing treatment there. Congrats on your little one. I hope to be there next year. Vanessa
