Shelly,
There is always hope. Though it is harder to achieve pregnancy at 43. It sounds like you want to learn more about donor. Your chances of achieving pregnancy would be much higher. Please speak to you doctor about it.

Dr. Barad

: I'm soon to be 43 in Jan. Had 2 mc's in 1994. (different partner) In May 99 I had a lap. 1 tube removed, the other ok with some adhesions. normal FSH.(around 8) did one cycle of 2 amps gonal-F only produced 1 egg. did iui. Went to NYU for IVF in Nov. They wanted to give me bcp's, micro-lupron and 40 amps pergonal. I got scared with all the meds and didn't do it. Now I'm starting to feel like I want to try again. I'm just scared with all the med's and no pregnancy, that my risk of ovarian/breast cancer high. I had an aunt with ovarian cancer.Do you think there is any hope for a woman 43 getting pregnant? I'm not familiar with donor. Thanks, Shelley
