I got a low positive result to my beta pg test last night. It's my first IVF cycle and I'm not sure if I can go through treatment again - it's too much stress. I am feeling the period pains this am so I'm not that hopeful. Today, I'm 40 and it's not a good confluence of events. Plus I can't get hold of my dr to explain what it really means, though I realise they don't really know definitively. I feel very sad about the whole thing. It reminds me of that title of the '70s film --- They Shoot Horses Don't They.
Now my family are calling to wish me happy birthday and I don't want to talk to them cos most of them I haven't told ..... It sucks big time.
