My RE put me on progesterone suppositories last week. I was bleeding and she was afraid that my progesterone was dropping. I read the warning sheet that the pharmacy provided. It says that there is no evidence that progesterone suppositories prevent miscarraige and it can cause minor birth defects in women who take them during their first trimester. They said that the babies can have genital abnormalities. Is this true? I know a lot of doctors prescribe these things. I don't want to use them if it is true. Leslie
