: : I am totally confused...so help, please! It was so much easier having to pay out-of-pocket and then being reimbursed from the insurance company, no matter what doctor you used. We now have a choice of choosing either CIGNA PPO or Oxford's Freedom Plan. I was all set to go to Cornell, but they explained this morning, after much probing from me, that they don't accept Oxford for IVF and it's considered out of network for Oxford. In order for me to be covered through Oxford, it has to be in network. Because we haven't chosen a plan yet, getting information from my husband's Human Resources Representative is like pulling teeth. So, does anyone know which doctors accept either of these two plans. Preferably Manhattan, but I'll do Long Island or Queens. And we have to decide by Friday afternoon. Thanks for your help.

: I have Oxford Freedom Plan but I'm in NJ. Their customer svc. no. is if you haven't gotten any names yet. If they won't help you, let me know and I'll log in to their web site since I'm a member. Their address is www.oxhp.com but I'm not sure if you can access the doctor list without a password.

Danna,

Thanks. I got into their web site, but what I found out was that Cornell doesn't accept Oxford for the actual IVF cycle, just the testing, etc. That isn't acceptable. It looks like I'll be going with CIGNA because after meeting the deductible, at least we'll be reimbursed partially. But thanks for the offer.
Vanessa
