: Hi Leslie. I hope you do get pregnant this cycle. But if not, maybe you should ask your doctor if you could take valium before your next IUI. I took it before some of my IVF transfers because I used to get very anxious and stressed out the day of and at the transfer. The 3 times I took the valium (10 mg in morning and 10 mg 1 hour before transfer) I got pregnant (out of 6 cycles). One was a miscarriage, the other 2 cycles I have 2 children from. I went through 5 years of IF treatment, lots of surgery, 2 miscarriages, countless med/IUI cycles, etc. I never thought there was going to be light at the end of the tunnel. I walked around in a constant state of depression. Please try to keep your hopes up and your attitude positive. You never know what the outcome of a cycle will be. My 1st son was born from the worst looking, 2-4 cell defrosted frozen embryos. They were so bad looking that dead cells had to be removed from them before the transfer. I was sure I wouldn't get pregnant because I didn't get pregnant from previous fresh cycles with beautiful looking 14-16 cell embryos. One thing is for certain though-you will be a stronger person after all of this is over. You will be able to deal with any crisis in your life better than the next person. Good luck! Lauren

I REALLY don't think that I am going to get pregnant. I am so sore and my cervix was swollen and she couldn't open it. FINALLY, she got the tube part way in. She told me that as long as it was in it was OK. I don't believe it for a second. What a waste. Leslie
