I will be 40 at the end of August. I have a son who will be 3 at that time too. We've been undergoing infertility treatments since September: 5 cylces of clomid & IUI, 2 cycles of Repronex with IUI.
RE suggested either doing a laporoscopy or IVF. I am confused. I would think a laporoscopy would need to be done before an IVF to make sure all is clear. I don't really understand why it would be one or the other. MY RE really recommends IVF, but I have major concerns about the cost, so that is when he suggested a lap. Please comment, and help my confusion...Dorrie
