I think that you have to decide what is best for yourself. Everyone has their limit. I have decided to not try IVF at all at this point. For some reasons, my RE wants me to do IVF sooner than later, but I am not. I am going to do a couple more iui's before calling it quits. Financial reasons initially prompted this decision and often I think that if NY gets an insurnace mandate, I will try IVF at that time...but you know, I feel like I have gotten so caught up in going to the doctor and thinking, "I have to be pregnant, I have to be pregnant" that I lost sight of the most important thing. For me, that thing is the baby. I want a baby. As a woman, I want to experience a pregnancy, but a pregnancy is only temporary. It is the baby that is going to make the family. I am going to give it a couple more tries at the pregnancy thing because of course I still want it, but I think that I can be happy with an adoption. I want a family and the baby is what adds to a family. So..that is how I came to my decision. That is how I found a little bit of peace (don't get me wrong, I still feel sad and jealous when I see pregnant women). I hope that you make a decision that you can find peace with. Good Luck. Leslie
