Sorry to hear you have to deal not only with the
medical procedures, but also with the NYC housing
market! I have no good leads, but wanted to make
sure you knew to check the apartment listings
at www.villagevoice.com. It's how I always have
found my NYC apartments. They list sublets and
short term rentals. A new list comes out at
3:00 p.m. every Tuesday. You would have to be
very lucky to get something right at Cornell,
but anywhere on the Upper East Side woud do--
or really, since budgets are tight, anywhere in
Manhattan and you can easily take the subway.
Good luck!

: Hi everyone,
: We are a Canadian couple scheduled to undego an IVF in Cornell starting June 3/2000.
: We are looking for affordable accomodations for three weeks, from June 3 to June 23/2000, near or around Cornell.
: We would appreciate any advice and information for finding such accomodations including B&B, rooms, private home, shared accomodations, anything really !
: Is there any accomodation at the university dorm sites ?
: This is a big step for us and finding the right accomodation is key to a sane process.
: Thank you all for your time and efforts.

: Take care,

: Marc & Yvette
