This is my first cycle on Follistim, 3 vials a night. I did two cycles of Clomid previously, with good response (3 mature follicles), although not great lining (7.4, 8.4). On CD7, after four days on Follistim, I had 6-7 follicles: 15, 13, 11, 11, and others smaller and not measured. E2 was around 310. CD9 u/s showed that the biggest follicle had taken over, and was now over 18, others were 14.5, 14, 12.5, and 2-3 smaller. E2 was 503. Bad news: P4 1.8, LH 22. So, I had my HCG shot at 5:00 p.m., and IUI next a.m. I assume that this cycle is basically hopeless. Is that right? What does this mean for future cycles? Does this indicate anything about my chances for success on IVF? I'll be doing IVF next cycle. I am 36.8, have been ttc for 10 months, one m/c, FSH 6.7, E2 around 50. Thanks for any insight.
