I'm 36 years old and new into the world of IVF. My first cycle was cancled - only one folicle evolved. I'm awaiting instructions to begin anew.
My partner is very understanding, but I don't think he feels this setback as deeply. My friends and family are supportive, but honestly can't understand the failure I feel.
Reading this board, seeing the compasion you all have for one another, not one of you have insisted we "get over it". Just reading this board, knowing I'm not alone... and my feelings are OK (I'm not just feeling sorry for myself) has made me feel at peace.
