Your cold probably won't affect your chances of responding to the medications or of getting pregnant. You probaly will be over it before you ovulate. On the other hand, going through a cycle of treatment can be quite stressful. Why go through it with the added burden of a cold. If there is no good reason why you must go through it now (work or insurance or social reason), why not put it off until you feel better. Medically one mont won't make a big difference.

: I am supposed to start pergonal at the end of the week. I am doing pergonal/IUI. Well...I am coming down with a cold or flu or something. I am sneezing and coughing and feeling a little on the yucky side. If this progressed into a cold or flu in the next couple of days, would you recommend that I continue with the cycle? Would it harm my chances of becomming pregnant? Thanks for the input! Leslie
