I don't know if I am the right person to ask that question to, about when you start to consider adoption. But in my uneducated opinion, I think it has to be an individual decision. I think we all go into infertility with our own dreams and backgrounds and religious beliefs etc. and based on all of those things that make us who we are as individuals, we make the decisions that we can live with. There is another good website to get support and knowledge. I have found this website to be also helpful. www.inciid.org I have posted on the exploring adoption board as I have begun to think about adoption more and more. We are going to try a few pergonal/IUI's before moving on to adoption. It was recommended to me to buy the book, Adopting After Infertility. My husband ordered it off amazon for me for my birthday! Good Luck with your journey. One thing, Tiffany...have you seen a reproductive endocrinologist yet? Have you looked into treatment? It may be worth your while to look into. Maybe your issue that is causing you to not get pregnant can be helped really easily. It is just a thought, but then again, it is all about what you and your partner are comfortable with.
