Hi Vanessa - some of the docs at Cornell participate in
different plans, it depends on who your primary
physician is. (Dr. Chung is on Oxford). For some visits
you may only have to pay the co-pay, But for the
cycle fees, you have to pay up front and get reimbursed after the fact.
Just be sure to keep excellent records of what you pay and
what is reimbursed so you get back all the money due
to you. Often the insurance company will pay
your claim to Cornell and then Cornell reimburses you.
I've been through 4 cycles there, and believe me,
good record keeping and persistence with the
billing office and insurance company has saved me $$$! Good luck!
