:4 attempts for my 1st child (3 fresh IVF and the 4th was a FET) and 2 attempts for my 2nd child (1 FET and then a fresh IVF). We also had male factor. If your FSH is good, please don't give up if you can afford to keep trying. The way I look at it, each IVF cycle is just another roll of the dice. Good luck! Lauren C. P.S. Get a second opinion. My second IVF just failed, and RE says it's time to think about giving up. I have too much hope in my heart to give up just yet (I'm only 27 & dx is male factor), and I've read that success rates don't drop until the 3rd - 6th cycle.
: So for you lucky ladies out there who have had success with IVF, HOW MANY ATTEMPTS DID IT TAKE?
