I am trying to conceive naturally and am very confused about CM. Several books I've read say that immediately after it turns clear and slippery, you ovulate. What does "immediately" mean? Minutes, seconds, hours? Also it seems that it shows up, and I think it's "that time", then goes away for a day or so, then reappears. How are you supposed to know when it's really just before ov? Is this method at all reliable? Trying to avoid expensive kits and drugs. Thank you.
