I am sorry to hear about your husband's recent diagnosis.
Many physicians who do not deal with HIV issues on a regular basis may not feel comfortable handling what can be a controversial and emotional situation. I would suggest that you inquire at some large programs in your area. Your risk of contracting the infection must also be considered. Good luck,
